Join The Fernweh Studio in their charming hometown for an inspired insider Slow Food + Sustainable Wine Weekend in the Texas Hill Country. Kirsten and Brandon will open the door for you to enjoy the best of the farm to-table-movement that includes both their favorite local wineries and restaurants in the Fredericksburg area.

Staying at the beautiful, historical Hoffman Haus tucked away from Main Street, you'll enjoy meeting local chefs and wine-makers while learning first hand about the foodie scene in the Hill Country. The weekend includes:

  • Private wine tastings and charcuterie by La Bergerie
  • Chef Josh Raymer Woodfire Pizza dinner and outdoor film at Pontotoc Wein-garten (meet the winemakers too!)
  • Fireside discussions on slow living in the Hill Country
  • Regenerative agricultural tour at Roam Ranch with owners Tyler and Katie (bonus: meet baby buffalo born that week!)
  • Cooking class at Hoffman Haus (local vegetarian menu with wine pairing and lunch)
  • Private tour and interview with famed antique curator Carol Hicks Bolton
  • Private winery tour and tasting
  • Farm-to-table dinner with Chef Julia Poplawsky of La Bergerie (formerly Dai Due) and Reagan Meador from Southold Farm + Cellar
  • Optional spa and shopping on last day with a curated guide created by Kirsten + Brandon

Cost: $895 p/p (includes all lodging, food, wine, tours, transportation during retreat and tax). Note, all lodging is shared: 2 per room (queen or king bed based on availability)
